OBJET D'ART 6-PANEL
Objet D'Art literally means "art object", or work of art, in French. The term has long been repurposed in English to describe works of art that are not paintings, large or medium-sized sculptures, prints or drawings.
My Father’s Mother, Louise Calhoun Dalzell, was elegant, refined, and liked nice things. After her passing, my Father discovered an archive of 1930’s-era Art Dealer magazines from New York City in her estate. Inside the magazine, we spotted this small placard for an Art Dealer in Manhattan (Est. 1813). Long gone — this is our tribute to the Objet D'art, makers before us, and the longevity of printed matter.
